He specializes in training and coaching insurance and financial service professionals how to build referral-based businesses. Referral coaching clients come from companies including Northwestern Mutual, Woodbury Financial, Robert W Baird, State Farm, and MetLife. He is an active member of NAIFA: he currently serves on the national sub-committee of the Young Advisors Team and recorded one of the most recent Programs in a Box. He will be speaking at MDRT in June in Vancouver and at the Institute of Financial Planners annual conference in the UK in September. As well as being published in NAIFA’s Advisor Today and National Underwriter, he is a regular contributing author to Horsesmouth.com. Matt has recorded several referral and networking corporate training videos for New York Life. He is the author of Fearless Referrals, which Brian Tracy, author of The Psychology of Sales, says “teaches you the “Golden Rules” for developing a continuous chain of high quality referrals for any product in any business.” He is based in Chicago but hails from Coventry, England, home of Western Europe’s Most Unfriendly and Least Intelligent People as well as being frequently voted the Best Place to Get Attacked in Broad Daylight.
